SUPPLY CHAIN POSITIONING

COMPOST360’S SERVICES

Collection and disposal of residential and commercial organic yard, wood and food waste processed into beneficial use products

1

Haulers collect food waste/yard waste at the curbside or industrial facilities and transport it to a commercial organics processing site

2

Specialized equipment separates pre-consumer food waste from non-organic materials, including packaging materials such as plastics and paper

3

Pre-consumer food waste, yard & wood waste, and animal waste make it to a commercial organic processing facility where it is processed into compost, mulch and soils

4

Compost, mulch, and top soil are sold by these processors at their facilities and at regional hardware, garden, landscaping, and general stores

5

Once materials are processed, high-quality finished product is bagged to cater to the needs of gardeners, landscapers, and homeowners

9

Waste generators separate food and yard waste for eventual collection and transportation to an organics processing site

8

Food waste is distributed or consumed by both food processing plants and consumers

7

Plants benefit from the compost through vital nutrients leading to increased plant yield, water retention, and strengthened plant immune systems. Additionally, compost reduces the need to use harmful fertilizers and pesticides

6

End users, such as farmers, horticulturalists, nurseries, golf courses, and lawn & garden centers, apply compost as a soil amendment to improve the physical nature of the soil
